Advertising gone wild???

There was a time when advertising meant a method for creating awareness among the general public about the available resources and opportunities. Trust me, that time is gone. Just gone.

The present scenario is just too infuriating!
Shampoo, toothpaste, hair oil, cookies, dresses, websites, more so even educational institutions are fast competing with one another in the race of endorsement and advertising to exhibit their product to be the best.

Just grab a copy of Times Classifieds and you would agree with me.
Property, accepted. Job vacancies, accepted. Admissions, accepted.
Match-making? A big, bold, underlined, highlighted, NO.

A fair, good looking, handsome/beautiful, intelligent, kind hearted, sensitive, understanding, highly qualified & paid, US/UK/Europe/Australia/anywhere outside India (just for the sake of a NRI achievement),something-something-something-something, something caste, something-something, only son/daughter to their parents, something-something. The list just goes on and on and on.

Like seriously? Is this how you define a person? Is this how we find a person?
Reading these posts is a better entertainment than any given reality show. All the adjectives are given as constraints & expected to be found. How worse can it get?

Well, it certainly can. As if all these ad(s) were less embarrassing & shameful that people come up with websites for the same purpose.
God knows where this is heading to. Maybe this is a destination without a path. A highly stupid & senseless approach.

Every other coaching center becomes Bangalore's number 1, India's number 1!!
Why is there a need to exaggerate so much? Notice it or not, the value of every potent aspect is deteriorating day by day at an alarming rate. We do notice but just brush it off aside from our mind. This is how most things work right?

Angered, upset and sadly humored by what is THE PRESENT.
